This Easter, we are doing 2 Cross Services on Good Friday at 5:30 and 7:00PM, as well as our normal 3 Sunday morning services on Easter Sunday. We want to invite as many people as possible to come and hear about the powerful story of Jesus and the hope that He brings.

We are so excited about Easter Weekend, but we need your help. We need greeters, nursery workers, people handing out flowers, and more. We believe Easter is an excellent opportunity to share the Gospel with people who wouldn't typically come to church. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer in any way on Friday or Sunday, please click the registration button.

First Blessings Volunteers

First Blessings Volunteers

First Blessings is a annual event we have at Coggin to reach out to the community. We set up our gym with tables full of brand new shoes to give out to families in need. Once families pick out shoes, they are invited to have breakfast, get their picture taken in a nativity set, and are given a Bible for the kids.
First Blessing is one of our favorite events of the year. Each family who comes through our doors is given a church member to "shepherd" and interact with them through all of the activities. We love reaching out to the community and creating relationships for Gospel conversations.

First Blessing is only made possible by our volunteers. To be a success, we need people serving in the kitchen, with kids activities, greeting, walking families through the process of getting shoes, etc. There is a place for everyone to serve.

Join us! It’ll be a fun day of serving the community!

New Members Class

New Members Class

  • Coggin Ave. Baptist Church (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Our prayer is that through the process of membership that you would gain an understanding of who we are and why we do what we do.

Our membership process is accomplished in four steps. By stating that you would like to join, you’ve already completed step one. Next is this Membership Class, which is a two-consecutive week course where we describe our heart for membership, discipleship, service, and mission.

The third step towards membership is a meeting with someone from our pastoral staff. The intent of this meeting is simply our desire to get to know you, hear your story, and how we can best serve you. The final step is a vote of affirmation from the congregation at one of our regularly scheduled business meetings.

This process as a whole is intended to shepherd you well with the hope that you will have a true sense of belonging at Coggin.

Women's Gathering

In today's busy world, women often want connection with other women, but don't know how or when to make those connections and develop meaningful friendships. Women's Gathering is an effort to help women connect with other women of all ages.
Maybe you like hiking, going to sporting events, reading, or simply having coffee and conversations; whatever your interests are, there are other women who also have similar interests.
On Monday, October 30th at 6pm, there will be a women's fellowship. We hope to use the fellowship as a launching point for smaller interests groups to form.
We'll talk more about this in detail at the fellowship, so, if we've peeked your interest, then we'd love to see you at the fellowship on October 30th. Bring a salad dish or finger food and come see what Women's Gathering is about!

Childcare is available, please register below to let us know how many kids you will be bringing to childcare.

Coggin Worship Night

All summer, Coggin has been doing a summer of prayer. As the church is growing, we wanted to be sure that we were and are in a humble posture of prayer before the Lord. Everything we do begins with prayer.
We started June 4 and will continue all the way into August. Our Sunday school groups and home groups have been devoting their time together to praying and asking God to help us abide in Him.
In a culmination of this summer of prayer, Coggin is having a night of worship.

On Friday, August 18th at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary, we invite you to come and worship in song and prayer to the Lord. Bring your family! All ages are welcome. We are so excited for this night of worship! We hope to see you there!
