The Storyline of Scripture (Core Class)

Overview
We desire to help apprentices (or disciples) of Jesus grow so that they learn what it means to abide with Jesus, be transformed by Jesus, and imitate His life.
How do we become this type of apprentice? First, we need God to speak. We believe he has done that through His word. The Scriptures tell one story of what God is doing to reclaim and rescue his world from the damaging effects of sin and death. This story finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ and as his followers, we are invited to participate in His grand story.
Our first Core Class on Christian Story seeks to walk you through how to not only understand and explain the one story but to see your life is wrapped up in the story of what God is doing in our world.
Class structure
Participants will be expected to complete each week’s pre-work, requiring about 30-60 minutes, before arriving. Then, men and women will gather together around tables to discuss what they gleaned from the word. Finally, there will be weekly teaching on the session’s topic.
Cost
