Genuine is a great place to meet and find community with other college-aged adults from all over Brownwood.
If you’re a college or graduate school student, Genuine is the place for you.

Genuine is a weekly gathering that includes worship, teaching, and groups.

Join us in CCC Room 216 every Sunday from 7:00 pm-8:00 pm.

The Mission

The college ministry at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church exists to point others to Jesus and teach those who follow him how to be disciples who make disciples. We fulfill this mission through the local church. It’s our desire to see college students who come to faith connect with the local church and become part of a family.

What do we do?

We gather weekly on Sunday evenings at 7 pm for our large group time. We have several small groups that meet throughout the week on different nights to study the Bible and live in a community with one another. We offer several internships that college students participate in. Our ministry in large part is college students ministering to college students by leading small groups, worship, and teaching times. We want to train and empower students to practice what they preach and learn. We also host several college events throughout the semester like Murder in the Dark, movie nights, and coffee shops, that create space to have fun and hang out.
