Hi, I’m Chris Stuard, and I came on staff in the summer of 2012 as the Love Brownwood Pastor. I added on the role of Associate Youth Minister in May 2019. I graduated with my undergrad from Howard Payne in 2010, and a week later my wife and I were married. Amanda and I have 3 children: Chapel, Micah, and Blakely. I completed my Masters in Theology and Ministry in 2017 from Howard Payne.
I want to see the Gospel spread throughout the community of Brownwood through disciples of all ages who are making disciples. I am passionate about equipping the saints to live on mission wherever God has placed them and to recognize their neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces as a mission field. When I am not at the church, you can find me either hanging out with my family or sitting in the woods. I love archery and music. My hope for Coggin is that we would love and serve our community well by sharing the Gospel with passion and boldness.
