Music Ministry of CABC

In a day when the arts are flourishing in the church, some might question the relevance of church choirs. While many churches have done away with choirs, we believe that the church choir is one of the most powerful and penetrating experiences for the corporate worship experience. We seek the heart of God through passionate worship. It is our prayer that worship is pleasing to God, fulfilling to the worshiper, and compelling to the seeker. If you have a heart to worship the Lord, you are welcome to join our community of worshipers. There are opportunities for children, students, adults and senior adults through the worship and arts ministry at Coggin. If you play an instrument, hand-bells, or would like to be a part of drama ministry, there is a place here for you!

Our Ministry is based on the following principles:

• Our Foundation - God's Word

• Our Relationships - With one another and our personal walk with God.

• Our Preparation - We will prepare ourselves musically because excellence is required in all that we offer our God.

• Our Celebration - We believe that most powerful worship leading our church is the choir.

II Chronicles 5:13-14: "The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang, 'He is good and His love endures forever.' Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God."
