What is a fight club?
Fight clubs are small, simple groups of two or three (men with men, women with women) who meet regularly to help one another believe the promises of God and combat out of control desire that leads to sin. Men meet with men and women meet with women in order to address gender specific issues head on. The aim of these groups is to keep the Gospel central in our fight for faith and against sin. Fight Club is not a confession booth where we simply "get things off our chest," nor is it mean to simply be a moral safeguard. These groups are most effective when they come from a robust understanding of the Gospel that then drives us to go to war against the flesh because we see Jesus as most desirable.
